Here are some tips for making the most of your hypnosis experience.
For recorded sessions and phone sessions, be sure you have thirty minutes of uninterrupted time in a relaxing environment. Turn off or dim any lighting, and turn off cell phones or anything that might be a potential distraction.
For recorded sessions, listening with headphones tends to be much more effective than listening on speakers, so I highly recommend having a good set of noise-cancelling headphones. For telephone sessions, it is preferred that you are wearing a headset. You can be hypnotized while holding a telephone or using speaker phone, but a headset will work better for us both.
Before the session, get into a relaxing position on a comfortable piece of furniture. Be free of any expectations or assumptions, and just let my voice be your guide.
If you find that you have trouble going into a state of trance, the best suggestion I can give you is to pretend. “Fake it ’til you make it,” as they say. Just allow yourself to feel like you think being hypnotized would feel. If an individual has enough practice pretending, eventually that person truly feels as though hypnosis has been achieved.
Note: Please refrain from listening to hypnosis files while operating a moving vehicle or any other type of machinery; this could be very dangerous. Use common sense as to when and where to use hypnosis.
